Kate Brehm

Kate Brehm has appeared at Puppet Playlist.

Kate specializes in devising wordless abstract puppetry and physical performance. Original works include: Dark Space (with Alexis Macnab), Do You Copy?, Belly Dream Real, and A Seemingly Unified Spectacle. She has toured extensively for the award winning Basil Twist to such venues as the Kanazawa Contemporary Art Museum in Japan, Lincoln Center, the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Spoleto Festival. She is the recipient of several awards including a New York State Individual Artist Award. She has taught puppetry at Royal Holloway University and Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She curates and hosts Slutty Puppets through her company, imnotlost.
